Awesome job!! It looks so good. The time you spent on it really means a lot to me, that was so nice of you.
I love the redesign on the costumes, Betty's is awesome, and more mature than the one I give her, I'm sure she'll like your version better!!
The detail on her vest must have taken forever.
And Anastacia's pose is just great!

glad u liked it. art is also a means of escape for me, so it's always an enjoyable venture. even better if the audience likes it too hehe.

the vest was actually very simple. here's how i did it:

using a pen, i drew wiggly lines to create that "texture" on the vest. then i create another layer on top of it, and set it to "gel" (set it to "multiply" in photoshop). then i just paint on the layer without having to mask the wiggly lines. add a little touch up with the "colour dodge" tool, and u get that shiny/glow effects. it's a simple trick, but adds more detail to the piece.

i got it from some website/forum that i cant remember... but try it.
